Kirsty Hutchison
With over 30 years in the industry, Kirsty has deep knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI). Her diverse experience has seen her lead Lean and Lean Six Sigma programmes globally, tailoring them to diverse sectors.
Before Catalyst, Kirsty directed Business Improvement programmes for a leading international Lean Six Sigma training provider. There, she crafted and delivered Lean and Lean Six Sigma programmes, mentoring individuals from Yellow Belt to Master Blackbelt. Her role in shaping the Lean journeys of numerous professionals is widely acknowledged.
Earlier in her career, her time at Fujifilm Electronic Imaging and Nissan Motor Manufacturing UK sparked her passion for root cause analysis and Lean Thinking. At TRW Aeronautical Systems, she contributed to Lean Enterprise deployment and led Value Stream enhancement, developing her broad CI expertise.
Holding a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Science from Strathclyde University, and a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Kirsty adeptly makes statistics captivating, using hands-on exercises and real-life examples to bring data to life.
Kirsty’s energetic training approach is anchored in authenticity. She often shares personal stories to demystify complex subjects. Her interactive sessions, combined with her commitment to ensuring her methods are tailored to enable the delivery of real-world results demonstrate her dedication to learners and to delivering real value and return on investment for her clients.
